Black Onyx & Sterling Silver Pattee Cross Earrings

In ancient Egypt, the Pattee Cross evoked protection and regeneration , its eight ends representing the cardinal points and celestial cycles. In ancient Greece, the cross pattée, sometimes called the "Greek cross", symbolized the meeting of spirituality and matter.

These handmade, one of a kind earrings feature Black Onyx 7x22mm smooth teardrop briolettes, hand wrapped in sterling silver wire paired with artisan sterling silver pattee crosses and are finished with my hand forged sterling silver ear wires. Earrings measure 1 5/8” in length. Coordinating pieces listed and sold separately.
