The "Buddha feet" in Sri Lanka refer to the Sri Pada (sacred footprint), a famous 1.8-meter rock formation near the summit of Adam’s Peak in central Sri Lanka, held by Buddhists to be the footprint of Buddha. However, the site is sacred to multiple religions: Hindus believe it to be the footprint of Shiva, and Muslims and Christians believe it belongs to Adam. Pilgrims have revered the site for centuries, making it a major pilgrimage destination with a rich history connecting the rock formation to various religious traditions.
